Ryan's best friend, Trevor Jacobson, lost his wife and best friend to a serious illness last Sunday. She was an amazing person and a phenomonal mother. She loved her children very much and they brought her much joy. This experience has really made us stop and think about the important things in life.Trevor is an amazing person and eventually he will conquer this trial in his life. This post is to ask anyone who reads this to remember him and his family in your prayers. He needs that more than anything, and when it comes right down to it, that is what will get him through this. The relationship that he will establish with our Heavenly Father will be his strength. Trevor is going through med school and he has a 4 year old boy, Matix, and a 14 month old girl, Niveli. He needs our love and support. Also, for anyone that is interested there is a private account set up for him, it is at Wells Fargo Bank, the account # is 8888362459/ routing # is 122105278. Even if you can only donate $1, it could make a difference in his life. The prayers and service we give to one another not only strengthens them but us as well, plus it always comes back to us.

Nice post.. I met her once and really thought that she was/is a sweet person and she really did show a great love for Trevor and her children. Ryan- you are a great friend to support him through this trial.
We have a friend that lives in our ward. He is only in his mid 20's as well and he has been suffering with the same thing for almost 10 years. He has really bad days and it is really hard on his family. We all ralley around their family because he gets so depressed and out of it that he has a hard time keeping his jobs. We hope and pray that it doesn't come to what Trevor is going through. He is on meds, but they really aren't much help..I feel for anyone having to go through this- it really isn't something you can just snap out of. We will pray for Trevor and his kids to cope with their temp. loss and hopefully they can have peace.
I have spent many hours in the middle of the night this past week thinking of Amber, Trevor, and the entire Jacobson family. It is very difficult to understand and there is really no way without going through it ourselves. I remember the peaceful feeling that came over me as I watched the pictures of her smiling and happy with Trevor and their kids. I cann't help but believe she is in the arms of our loving Savior and he is heeling her of this terrible sickness. He and He alone can and will bring them back together again. It will seem like a long, long time, but on the timeline of eternity it is but a short trial.
In the end all will be well, if we can keep the faith. That is the key.
I am truly sorry for Trevors loss -- and yours.
I know that another way we can help is to serve others and try to brighten anyone's day. You never know who is suffering from depression. It is much easier to be on the outside and try to lift than to be in the middle of it and try to lift yourself.
The more we try to "pretend" like things are fine, the worse off we will be. Amazing things can and will happen as we continue to love and support people by talking to them, listening to them, serving them and truly loving them for who they are.
