I finally finished my fireplace project. I took me longer than expected, as always, but I am very pleased with the outcome. My wife has been incredibly patient as I worked on this project rock by rock. It was a fun project to undertake, as it gave me an opportunity to learn a new skill and several hours to forget my worries and work with my hands. The rocks I used are out of the same quartzite rock quarry that were used to build the Logan Temple and Tabernacle.
