My handsome husband has reached the tender age of 31. He is so wonderful and we are all very grateful to be a part of his life. To show our love for him on his special day, the kids and I came up with 31 reasons why we love daddy. We then stuffed the 31 reasons into 31 balloons and had them spread all over the house when he arrived home from school. (Annika and Micah loved it. They think they should get to do it on their birthdays as well).Ryan always has enchiladas on his birthday (his mom's recipe) and pie, because he hates cake. After the meal, Annika and Micah took turns handing him balloons to pop to read the 31 reasons of love. It was great and a bit loud! The kids each bought him his favorite candy: butterfingers, sour patch kids, and pringles. I gave him a really cool picture of the sacred grove along with a letter titled, "The top 31 reasons why I love Ryan Alexander Eborn" For the finishing touch on his birthday I took him to lava to soak away the stress and strife of being 31. :) I think he had a pretty good day considering he hates birthdays!

I'm proud of Ryan and often hear good reports about the influence he is having as a teacher. That's a neat idea about the 31 reasons. I hope nobady tries that on me. They'd be sunk from square one.
I bet not everybody recieved a phone call from Hawaii on their birthday. Sure glad you're our son.
That was a good idea with the balloons, I'm sure the kids had fun
putting ideas in them. I know he enjoyed the hot tubbing.
